St. Michael's Parish

Welcome to the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church website. Our parish has been a cornerstone in the community of Staunton, Illinois since 1867. We are family, friends and neighbors. We enjoy an active, social environment. Together we share a spiritual faith centered on the Eucharistic Celebration of Mass.

We invite you to join our parish family in the celebration of Mass on the weekend or at the Friday weekday Mass. It is our desire to make all who step through the doors of the church feel welcome in worshiping with our parish family. In addition to attending Mass, there are many opportunities to get involved in the parish.

OUR PARISH MISSION STATEMENT:

The parishioners of St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Staunton, Illinois, are, by virtue of their baptism, a community of Disciples.  Our mission is to gather at the banquet table and then go forth proclaiming Jesus Christ and His good news with our parish, community, and the universal church.

We do this by joyfully celebrating and sharing our God given gifts and talents of prayer, hospitality, faith formation, and service.  These four pillars are our foundation.
